About SolarBuddy

SolarBuddy is an Australian charity uniting a global community with a big dream to gift six million solar lights to children living in energy poverty by 2030, to help them study after dusk and improve their education outcomes.

About Energy Poverty

Each night, more than 800 million people are plunged into complete darkness since they do not have equal access to clean energy. They depend on primitive forms of energy like charcoal and firewood to ignite their way through the night. These forms of energy have a devastating impact on the health and wellbeing, economic stability, educational outcomes and the environment they live in.

AMPLA and SolarBuddy

SolarBuddy is pleased to be appointed as AMPLA's Charity of choice. Together, we will illuminate more futures of children living in energy poverty through your gift of lights. To see the impact of your gift and be amazed by how far your generosity will stretch, we invite you to check out the impact calculator.
