Michael is a Projects and M&A practitioner.  He moved to Singapore in 2014 to help establish King & Wood Mallesons’ Singapore office and remains there as its current Partner in Charge.  Michael has a sectoral focus on energy & resources and infrastructure (particularly digital infrastructure) and a particular expertise on all aspects of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply chain.

In recent years, Michael has supported clients on project developments, financings, acquisitions and divestments and offtake/trading arrangements – for oil & gas, conventional & renewable power, and digital assets and infrastructure - in jurisdictions including Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, China, Japan, PNG and Australia  Increasingly, his technology and energy practices are converging with opportunities to support clients on developments such as data centres combined with renewable energy project development or offtake arrangements, blockchain trading, and use of IoT technology in projects and supply chains.
